4-Yes. 4-No. 50/50. I love probate records because they identify relationships. I want higher odds!
I guess I should feel grateful. I just reread the entry on US Probate Records on the familysearch wiki. It states:
ReplyDelete"Not everyone left an estate that was probated by a court. Estates were probated for approximately 25 percent of the heads of households in the United States before 1900, whether or not the individual left a will."
I guess this means the Big 8 are doing 100% better than the average.
